A psychedelic internship offers a unique, immersive opportunity to engage directly with the legal psilocybin service model in Oregon. Whether you're on the path to becoming a licensed facilitator or simply seeking deeper experience in the field of psychedelic healing, a psilocybin internship provides critical hands-on learning.

Through 20-30 hours of shadowing and learning from a trained facilitator including participating as a client, interns (practicum students) gain firsthand insight into safe, ethical, and transformative psychedelic work.

A psychedelic internship supports professional development, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of psilocybin-assisted experiences in a real-world setting.

Our Internships are thorough, professional, and individualized (just like the private sessions we provide to our clients). EPIC Healing Eugene has served over 500 clients (facilitating over 600 client sessions) since opening. We are the nation's first licensed psilocybin service center and have been serving clients since June 2023. Our experience and qualified staff gives us a lot to share!

We'd love to share our expertise in facilitating sessions and helping people, including those seeking psilocybin for complex trauma, depression, anxiety, end of life distress, OCD, eating disorders, addictions, and spiritual growth.

We offer a unique program specializing in providing high quality and private sessions mostly to individuals, couples, and small groups that know each other. We offer retreats, and have developed a long-term, comprehensive integrative program that is free and supports our clients in their personal growth, before and long after their actual psilocybin experience. Each month, our clients can attend our eight on-going personal growth groups for free, including bimonthly psychedelic preparation, bimonthly psychedelic integration, and four personal growth groups (each group has different themes). Additional details: Your internship will provide you with an inside view of being a client and a facilitator helping you develop skills and confidence on your path to help others.

EPIC’s 40-Hour Standard Internship: We provide 20 hrs direct in person client hours & training, other 20 hours are offered online. Learn, develop, and practice facilitating skills during at least one psychedelic session (in addition to having your own experience). You’ll also learn the ins and outs of facilitating psilocybin sessions in a professional, regulated setting.

The Standard Internship package is good for those either not concerned about meeting criteria for a psychedelic licensed training program, the Standard Internship program meets the rest of your program’s criteria based on your training, you just need some additional hours to complete requirements, you want to build on the facilitation or psychedelic coaching experience you have, and/ or you’re interested in learning and gaining as much experience as you can in the psychedelic field.

EPIC’s 40-Hour Standard Internship: We provide 30 hrs direct in person client hours & training, other 10 hours are offered online. Good for those wanting to meet criteria for a psychedelic licensed program, who need some additional hours to complete requirements, or for those desiring to learn, develop, and practice facilitating skills during at least two client psychedelic sessions (in addition to having your own experience). You’ll also learn the ins and outs of facilitating psilocybin sessions in a professional, regulated setting with a skilled team engaged in this work since the beginning of the Service Center model in Oregon.

(Great for meeting Oregon and Colorado’s Internship / Practicum requirements, and building your resume and facilitator portfolio of actual facilitation hours).

1. An Internship Instructor from the EPIC / Radiant Heart faciliator team who will provide lead instruction and coordination for educational and experiential internship.

2. Standard Offering: An individual Psilocybin session where the Internship Student is the Client.

3. Standard Offering: Observation and Training from a Licensed Facilitator in licensed service center environment, focused on working with others experiencing “an altered state of consciousness.”

4. Standard Offering: The opportunity to act as a “Facilitator” to a “client” who will take psilocybin (with the guidance and support of Lead Internship Instructor)

5. Standard Offering: Thorough training in key areas needed for engaging in a safe and meaningful facilitation practice, including intake process, behind the scenes screening and assessment skills, safety, boundaries, dosage decisions, working within a regulated system, communication skills, self-regulation, confidentiality, ethical considerations, and more.

6. Standard Offering: Your lead internship instructor can also help arrange extra speciality training sessions with another of our Radiant Heart facilitators to address extra topics of interest such as medical assessment, mental health assessment, ethics, music, trauma-informed care, self-care, enhanced intake skills, and more.

7. Standard Offering: We provide 20 hrs direct in person client hours & training in our standard offering, other 20 hours are offered online. (See costs).

8. Advanced Internship: Core offerings of our Standard Internship, as well as more specified training to meet your state’s requirements. We provide 30 hrs direct in person client hours, other 10 hours are offered online. (See costs)

9. Discounts on extra “client” facilitation sessions if more experience is desired or required for licensing program. For each extra 10 hour client contact package, 1 client session, (beyond the Standard Offering of 20 in-person/20 hrs virtual training, or Advanced 30 in-person hours / 10 hrs virtual training, add an additional $1500. Group rates can be applied for additional discount.

10. A certificate of completion that will meet licensing criteria for approved Oregon state programs. (Provide us the guidelines for your specific state program and we’re happy to help you explore what is needed so you can best meet requirements. Free consultation).

Yes! We offer group discounts for the EPIC Psilocybin Internship Experience.

As long as you are 21 years or older and have a desire to develop invaluable skills and gain life experience in providing psychedelic facilitation, you can attend. You do not need to be affiliated with a training program, though our internships are designed to help fulfill licensing criteria for those wanting to become a licensed psilocybin facilitator.

Traditional Package: The cost varies per amount of people interested, for 20 hr in-person experience, and 20 hr online training.

• 1 person = $3888 (flexible time-frame) - 1 Licensed Facilitator to shadow

• 2 people = $2888 (would need to coordinate with others who might be interested, unless you know someone who wants to come as group)  - 1 Licensed Facilitator to shadow

• 3 people = $2777 - 2 Licensed Facilitators to shadow

4 people = $2555 - 2 Licensed Facilitators to shadow

Advanced Package: The cost varies per amount of people interested, for 30 hr in-person experience, and 10 hr online training.

10 hr facilitation “add on” service:
